Tresa brings 20 years of marketing and agency leadership experience to her role and has spent her career helping to build brands and businesses from the ground up. Raised on a farm as one of 10 children, Tresa learned at an early age what it means to work hard, compete and collaborate. Working as a trusted partner for her clients and her team at Moontide, Tresa spends her days solving problems, planning for growth, and conceiving and executing strategic campaigns across all channels.
Warren started his career in advertising in 1988, working beside the legendary Jay Chiat and Lee Clow at Chiat/Day, a short six months after the agency won the Nissan account. He worked his way up the ranks of the agency to eventually find himself running the Infiniti automotive account. Today Warren is one of the most well respected leaders and thinkers in the media industry, having run media strategy and buying for dozens of industry-leading accounts including Callaway Golf, Toyota, Mars Corporation, and Farmers Insurance.
Charles started out in the agency world in Atlanta more than a decade ago and has worked with clients of all sizes on both coasts since then. Starting out as a content producer and moving on to search marketing, web development, and digital advertising, he is that rare breed who is deeply analytical but with a healthy dose of creative thrown in. Charles has provided significant digital and brand strategy services to our clients over the years and thrives on seeing a brand’s presence come to life digitally.
Emily partners with our clients to ensure their brands are best served by the content we create together. Emily has been with Moontide since the beginning and has done it all, including several years as publisher of Southbay, the luxury lifestyle publication produced by our parent organization, The Golden State Company. Before coming to Moontide, Emily was a senior marketing exec with both Visa and American Express. She’s a graduate of the University of Virginia and has artfully blended her East Coast sensibility with West Coast cool.
Steve is the consumer advocate on our team, working closely with Business Intelligence and Creative to ensure we stay on track strategically. He leads brand strategy development on InBrace, Centr, OrangeTwist, and others. In past lives, Steve has helped grow brands big and small, including Aetna, Wilson Sporting Goods, T-Mobile, Group Health, Sony PlayStation and Levi’s.
Leo’s 18-year journey to Moontide has taken him to three continents, across multiple creative disciplines, and to agencies such as Ogilvy, RPA, and Saatchi & Saatchi. Along the way he’s gathered more than 50 international design and advertising awards, including a Titanium Lion. He has delivered results for a spectrum of brands that include Sprite, Fanta, UN Women, IKEA, Honda, Toyota, Ad Council, and Disney. Leo is at home working with strategists, producers, executives, and clients—always with the audience front and center. And never putting his mark on anything predictable or boring.
Don epitomizes Moontide’s role as a growth partner for brands with bold aspirations, having worked with the likes of Apple, Under Armour, Disney, and Grubhub in the course of 25+ years of agency experience. Smarts and business acumen help account for that track record, but anyone who has worked with Don knows that he’s the ultimate people person and forger of positive relationships—and therein lies the true key to his and his partners’ success. Off-campus, Don loves to surf and play tennis—and to help others learn both of those passions.
Mallorie is a 15-year HR veteran who, after a long stint with Aflac in Indiana, moved west for the surf and sunshine—and found a compatible home with Moontide. “I was drawn to the company’s genuine warmth and collaborative mindset,” she says. “What I tell prospective hires comes from my own experience here—that at Moontide you’re a name, not a number. You’re made to feel part of a team. And you never have to worry about hitting a ceiling.” Mallorie feels right at home in the agency’s creative environment—she worked her way through university as a cosmetologist, and she’s still handy with the tools of that trade.
